Dr. Deborah Dunn

Dr. Deborah Dunn is an American physician of Russian/Swiss descent and the founder of Genetic Eve; a genetics company focused on inherited maternal mitochondrial mutations and optimizing mitochondrial health for longevity. She also leads regenerative medicine clinics in Texas and Colorado that emphasize personalized, integrative approaches to health and lifespan optimization.

Dr. Dunn earned her B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Colorado and began her scientific career as a Ph.D. candidate in neuropharmacology before transitioning into pharmaceutical research and development with companies including Johnson & Johnson and Allergan. Motivated by her interest in environmental health, she later received her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, completed residency training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and earned a master’s degree in environmental public health from Tulane University.

Board-certified in Integrative Medicine, she has pursued extensive advanced training in functional medicine, environmental medicine, regenerative therapies, hyperbaric medicine, peptides, ozone therapy, ketamine-assisted therapy, and trauma-informed care. Her work centers on how environmental exposures impact genetically susceptible individuals and accelerate aging.

In addition to her clinical and consulting work, Dr. Dunn is the author of five books and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, fishing, art, and music.
